The internet is a strange place

I'm starting to reconsider this day and age and how much it correlates with what content is posted on certain social medias and at certain points of time. What is appropriate and what is inappropriate and where is the thin line drawn? With all the diversity in perspections nothing seems right fully. I can post a picture of a creative yet slightly suggestive collage and someone can get upset and take it out of the joking context that it was intended to be set into. Whether or not one individual feels this way, is not the issue. No matter what you do, someone will praise you for it while another will despise you for it. 

So maybe before posting something over social media maybe we should start thinking to the self, why am I posting this? Will it make ME happy? The only right thing we can do here is be selfish so that the mind doesn't get stuck in the anxiety of losing followers. I gain triple the followers that I lose. I'm not sure why, but I have noticed. And it doesn't make me upset or sad because what I put into the inter webs is what I want to put. 

I understand social media is a way of self expression and connecting through others and I love that aspect entirely. I think it's important to connect with fellow humans and I honestly enjoy doing so. But then there comes a point when you are exploiting yourself truthfully and people can become upset and judgemental. When my post wasn't intended for them specifically it was intended for me to just get out what I wanted to in my own way. 

In 20 years from now I'm sure everyone with have so much garbage of them on the internet that it won't even matter for some corporate job. I'm not saying that this justifies inappropriate behavior but everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin. This becomes difficult when social media makes it so easy to be attacked and to be judged in a way that the person posting did not intend. If you don't like what someone is posting then by all means do not leave yourself in the unhappiness of watching them. Just because you do not like what someone is doing or saying does not mean you or they are a bad person. Everyone is just on a different wavelength and it is hard to connect with most or all people.  So just let your vibe attract your tribe because those are the people you should surround yourself with. The ones that you connect with are capable of your full love. Appreciate them, appreciate people as they are and respect people even if you're protected by a satellite connecting the screens.
