Darreck always hated how many photos I took of him but I wish I could take more. I love my friend and I'm so lucky that he has been a part of my life. I'll miss everything about him. thank you for being so special.

Darreck told me about this tattoo when he was wearing his Mark Twain shirt that says "the report of my death has been grossly exaggerated" we were talking about death and smoking a spliff in Taylors front yard waiting for friends to come join. He told me that he wanted to die in his sleep and he wanted to be unaware of his passing but he was reassured by the thought that death could be as Vonnegut describes.
